Place a Robot Vacuum where there is still dust

Updated
Start here

Moon Sweepers Robot Vacuum coverage is centered on its own station, not on the starter base. Put the station near unfinished ground and inspect the highlighted hexes before committing. The Ginger Empire demonstrates a tier 2 unit under Services and checks its work area with M.

Choose the station position first

  1. Find a patch of unfinished ground on the Moon Map; a station surrounded by cleaned hexes has little remaining work.
  2. With the building tool, choose the Robot Vacuum under Services. Inspect the highlighted work area around the proposed station.
  3. Use M to compare that footprint with the surrounding hexes. Choose dirty ground within the displayed area rather than measuring from the original base.
  4. Leave room to connect the station output to a conveyor route that reaches a receiving point.

Follow one collection and delivery cycle

The creator connects this installation to an extended conveyor. Leave clearance at the machine: a belt that clips underneath a structure may not give a usable connection. Follow an actual capsule out before extending a long route.

If the unit moves but the money does not change, distinguish collection from delivery. Find where output stops and use the auto-selling or bottleneck guide for that stage.

Separate coverage from the remote-work problem

A fixed Robot Vacuum's station footprint and J.O.O.N.A.S remote operation are different questions. The 1.0.4 announcement says J.O.O.N.A.S works without nearby players; it does not establish unlimited range for every fixed dock or re-test the older placement footage.

For a controlled check, observe work nearby and then note what changes after moving away. A working nearby cycle does not establish that unattended operation across the Moon is reliable.

What success looks like

The displayed footprint contains unfinished hexes, cleaning occurs there, and collected output reaches the intended receiver. Nearby success alone does not prove remote operation.
