Use the map to choose the next area

Updated
Start here

Open the Moon Sweepers Moon Map at a station console. The inspected gameplay guide describes orange as untouched ground, blue as partially cleaned and green as completed. Use those states to find unfinished work instead of judging only by how gray the terrain looks.

Read one nearby area

  1. Open the map at the station console.
  2. Find your current working area and compare its color with neighboring sectors.
  3. Choose a reachable unfinished area.
  4. After cleaning, check the map again to see whether its state changed.

Choose a route you can service

For a short trip, a nearby unfinished area is easier to compare with your previous work. For a vehicle trip, decide where the load will return before driving far away. These are planning suggestions, not a shortest-route calculation.

The same destination can be a poor choice for one tool and a practical choice for another. Include travel and unloading in the plan rather than choosing a location only because it appears untouched.

Keep exploration and delivery separate

A station or exploration marker does not by itself establish a new collector you can construct or an immediately usable sales route. Verify the receiving point you intend to use.

Flag rewards, survey-site procedures and a complete coordinate list are not part of this map-color guide. Do not treat an unverified marker as a guaranteed payout.

Use the new map actions in 1.0.4

The 1.0.4 announcement adds right-click actions for waypoints, focus and teleport, plus robot markers showing current activity and type toggles. The Teleport Panel lists stations you have discovered.

Those controls help navigation but do not establish a complete flag route, every station location or an arbitrary-ground teleport. Use the dedicated travel instructions for the current menu interaction.

What success looks like

You can identify unfinished ground, reach it with a sensible return route and compare its map state after cleaning.
