Work on depot deposit counts without rebuilding your factory

Updated
Start here

Moon Sweepers deposit achievements concern depot deposit actions, not kilograms collected. A player reports earning the 1,000-deposit milestone by bringing a conveyor to the deposit spot, picking up delivered capsules and depositing them manually. Whether automatic Packager deliveries also count remains unanswered in that discussion.

Use the reported short manual route

  1. Keep the existing factory route available; this method is a manual deposit branch, not evidence that all automation must be removed.
  2. Bring a capsule conveyor through the depot doorway toward the deposit spot. Boonie828 says to place that belt while the door is open: the closed door otherwise blocks placement.
  3. Take a delivered capsule and use the depot deposit interaction. Repeat the pickup and deposit cycle at the receiving spot.
  4. Check the relevant achievement progress or unlock when available. Keep deposit-count milestones separate from dust-weight and launch milestones.

What the successful report does and does not prove

The successful reply explicitly reports the 1,000 milestone. It does not test the Packager and does not report completing 10,000. The original question about automatic deposits therefore remains open.

If a capsule never reaches the spot, fix that route first. If delivery works but the achievement does not advance, record the build and exact manual action; do not interpret normal auto-selling income as proof of achievement credit.

What success looks like

Capsules arrive at the deposit spot and manual deposits advance or unlock the relevant milestone. The available success report reaches 1,000; the 10,000 requirement is listed, not independently completed here.
